Sushi’s origins began over 2,000 years ago, well before refrigeration, when Japanese fisherfolk preserved their catch by wrapping it in fermented rice and salt, calling it narezushi. Kept in darkened storerooms, narezushi was perfected over the centuries. Soko is a tribute to the origins of sushi. After dinner, relax with a cocktail in the Lobby Lounge and people watch or indulge in the chic allure of The Bungalow, an outdoor retro-groovy Baja beach house vibe replete with a pool table, hand-crafted margaritas, and ping-pong.

And back by popular demand, The Night Market at The Bungalow Santa Monica has returned, featuring a fresh lineup of food vendors, beverage activations, family-friendly activities, live DJ performances, and celebrity guest appearances. Attendees can look forward to enjoying bites from popular local restaurants and food trucks under festoon lighting. Local rescue organization Wags & Walks hosts an on-site meet and greet with adoptable dogs from local shelters on the second Thursday of each month.
